Lessons
Lessons can be private or semi-private. Hunter, Jumper or Dressage: correct seat, balance,strength, and clear communication with the horse is taught at all levels and disciplines.
Horses
Students may trailer in their own horses for lessons or use one of ours. We offer a nice variety of horses covering different levels of riding.

Mariza on Jordan and Teddy
Gymnastics
Marty works with her students to help open the lines of communication between horse and rider. She also uses cavalletti for their gymnastic value in building strength and balance.

Equi-Yoga (TM)
Marty works with students Amanda and Mariza on the longe using Equi-Yoga exercises to re-establish and confirm their center.

Horse Care
Under correct supervision, students are asked to be responsible for tacking up and grooming their own lesson horses, and shown the correct way to handle themselves around the animals. They finish the lesson by attending to the horse's aftercare and cleaning up after theselves and their tack, according to their abilities.

Arenas
Two rings, an outdoor ring finished in blue stone and an enclosed, weathertight indoor arena footed in shredded recycled leather provide a safe, secure learning and work environment all year round.

Judy Morrow, Heather's mother, enjoys sitting in our comfortable, shaded viewing area at our ouside ring to watch her daughter's lessons. There is an accessible and comfortable viewing area above the indoor arena, as well.
